Change is Coming

With the start of every year...everyone wants to make profound changes to their lives. Everyone has all of these resolutions that they will do better on "fill in the blank". Here's the thing...it's all a farse.

If it were really important to them, it would have been done earlier. What ever happened to the old saying, "Why put off tomorrow what you can do today?". There is a lot of truth in that statement.

If you want to become a better person and start living your life with some renewed inspiration, there is nothing more that needs to happen other than you just make the choice to do so. It's not some miracle of the New Year, but just a choice you need to make.

Happy New Year's to everyone!!

Energy Dependency

Years ago, before the war in Iraq started, before September 2001... people in the energy community were already saying we needed to lower our dependency on foreign fuel. There was talk of ethanol, hydrogen fuel cells and other methods.

Part of the argument then and now is the cost of the technology, building the infrastructure of filling stations..etc. Yet if you look at the cost of the war you will see that we have already spent far more on the war in dollars than it would have cost to equip our country and remove our dependence on foreign sources of fuel. This does not take into account the cost of lives or our reputation in the internaltional community.

How much more will we spend or lose until we change?
